Gary, IN -- Gary’s classic soul daily music show THE DRIVE FROM 2 P.M. – 5 P.M. will be on the road on Wednesday, October 16 from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. at The Blind Social Center, 4955 Broadway in Gary in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.  The event is also supported by Humana Health.  THE DRIVE FROM 2 P.M. – 5 P.M. is a classic soul music featuring the sounds of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s.  Show hosts Steve Williams and Karen Williams talk music and entertainment on the daily show. “We really wanted to go out and meet our fans and at the same time bring awareness to breast cancer month. We’re going to have fun and we hope that people will bring a donation to the Pink Ribbon Society, too.  Almost everyone knows someone or someone family that has been touched by this disease,” said Karen Williams. Williams said they chose The Blind Social Center to host their program because it is a great asset to the community and is a great location. “We want people to come out and have fun and dance and sing. We have so many people who say they listen. This is our way of meeting and greeting them and at the same time have some fun.” Those coming to the event are asked to wear something pink in support of breast cancer awareness.
